Are you talking about it being multi-layered? I've never seen a factory head gasket, but I know the factory exhaust manifold gasket is layered like that, and works fantastic. Maybe it is supposed to look like that. It may be ugly, but you're not going to see it once installed.

Well I have seen and gotten one of these before and it was not all bent up like this. Jake The 8- Are you talking about it being multi-layered? NO, (the layers are normal) Its so bent when you press down on the thing it does not even line up well to seat between the different layers. You can hear it wiggle around and then lock in place, If someone else really knows better and I am wrong in thinking that this gasket is bad let me know but really I have never seen one that was all bent out of shape like this before. I am just afraid that it wont seal right. Might line up in one place but not the next, Biggest concern in the center, look at the last pics how the center is all out of shape and all over. And don't really want to use it on my block. Would you?

yea ...kevin , I would ask for a new one ......it should be shrink wrapped to cardboard to protect it from ending up like that........as the last one did NOT look like that..

No, probably not. And that's what it boils down to. If you don't feel comfortable putting it on your car, absolutely ask for a new one or refund.
