GT3037S HTA, Is it possible?

I have a HKS GT3037s turbo kit and it looks like it has a small oil leak around the seal so instead of jus getting it repaired i was wondering if it could get modded by Forced Performance. From doing some research on the forums and elsewhere the gt3037s and the gt3076r have essentially the same internals with the only difference being the exhaust housing for the gt3037s is for at25 while the gt3076r comes with a t3 housing standard.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

They can do it, the 3037 uses a 3076 compressor. The price for the upgrade is $550.

To add to what Scorp has already said any atypical designation of a Garrett (i.e. 3037/3040/2530,etc.) is always almost a japanese designation and these turbos have a direct counterpart in the Garrett catalog. Typically the difference if any is the hotside, as HKS has a preference for some different combinations. The only exception to this is some FP products that will list the pounds/minute as the last 2 digits and thats actually helpful since it can quickly identify the potential of a given turbo.

boss man you should have no problem to call them, digicel calls to the states not that expensive, as i used my phone to call driveline sales to get my cusco parts for the 8, so give FP a call, the hta setup on your turbo can and will work, just call them

I'm also interested in this, as I have the same HKS turbo kit.
I'll try to call FP tomorrow.
