Oil cooler kit choices?
We have just come out with a replacement kit that does require some do it yourself mentality.

If you run special racing oil that has good high temp flow and viscousity then I can see not having an oil cooler since you will not be runing the car in the cold and you keep the block preheated before racing. Oil cool infact is a obstruction to flow of the oil.
but man I cant see any DD not wanting an oil cooler, that just dumb

He is also selling an oil filter HEATSHIELD which I assume protects not only the filter from heat but would also help to keep the oil temperature down. I'd also assume that it is not designed for road racing cars only.
I'm very interested in STM cooler. So how hard is it to install? I don't mind working with fittings and lines, but I don't want to fabricate the mounts.
BTW, I'll be road racing my car, so an oil cooler is pretty much a necessity.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. So far, STM looks like the best option as long as it doesn't require too much work.
