Well guys the evo their going to total out.. Its a 03 Blue By You Evo 8 with just under 22,000 miles on it.. Damage to the front end.. Will get pics up soon... here is the thing, it has a bent frame and looks banged up.. Air bags did not deploy... I have a chance to buy it back but don't know if i should... if anyone on here wants to get it let me know and we can work something out.. what do you guys think buy it back for around 5000 or just let the insurance have it?? i was thinking of buying it back and parting out like the motor, transfer case, tranny stuff like that, seats, sound system, and everything else.. let me know if anyone on here would be interested in anything.. if i get enough good responses ill buy it back and sell the stuff..

 

You will make money out of it if you buy it back for 5000 and sold everything as long as it was good. I might be interested in Tranny, Transfer Case and Rear Diff if it is good.

yeah i mean like i have a guy that is going to rip everything apart i believe... just mainly the bent frame messed up everything.. then the fmic, piping i believe, fluids and stuff are gone... from the turbo back everything looks good though man.. i mean i just don't know if its worth to buy back if im not going to make any profit...

do you have the factory ram air tube for the intake box still on the car? if thats in good shape i will buy it from you

Man, I can't believe you are giving up on a 22,000 mile car when everything from the turbo back except for some frame damage is fine. If you find a shop with the right equipment they can make it right. They don't come from the factory all that square. I'd consider this less of a problem than a blown engine.
