Stutter at boost

Ok, i just got the evo yesterday. It was running perfect. Boost was at 18lbs last night, everything was great. This morning was also fine. The car has a hallman mbc, hks intake and a buschur tbe. Today coming home from work, it will raise to like 10lbs and then is starts to sputter. It can go higher than 10, but it sputters the whole time. I get home, i turn the boost controller down. Now it is doing the same thing, only at 5lbs is where starts. This is no where near 100% throttle. I want to return the car back to stock except for an exhaust really, but I have read the if I want consistent boost, that I need a mbc. It already has one, so I kinda one keep it that way. It is hooked up with a tee going to the bov and intake, I believe. I know everything about my talon, but the evo is a little bit different.LOL

Plastic DV - is it uber cold there? Sometimes in the extreme cold my DV acts up (Forge). Check the DV first. Spark plugs are second - mileage on them?

I also like to have the MBC on its own line, not T'd into the DV line.

^^ is that the best way to hook up the MBC?

I've read that hooking it up like his is better. but I don't know!

Yes, diverter valve (DV) = BOV

I don't like vac lines fighting each other. So I use that method.

I just changed it so it is running that route now. Now the car sounds like it has cams as its running and it doesnt wanna accelerate.

You may have poped an intercooler pipe off. Does the car smell and have black smoke? Just go over every clamp on the intercooler pipe and every vac. line.

Pop off a IC line? Sounds like a major boost leak.

Well, I searched all over the garage and couldn't find a coupler that fits the turbo to run a boost leak test. I hooked a vacuum hose straight from the wastegate to the turbo. I got the same results. The car is running like its off time! It just stutters the whole way. I will also be able to get some plugs in it tomorrow too! I hope I can get it fixed, ive only had the car a day!
