stvbreal - I checked out what you have on your car and its basically the same mods except for 2 items HKS blow valve and exedy twin disk clutch kit. The rest of the mods are intake, 3" turbo back no cat, HKS evc controller and Super AFC. THATS IT!
So basically you should do atleast mid 12's with your setup

The valve I put on after the 12.6 run, but I had the exedy clutch disk on it already. Reason I had it was because I killed my clutch
pretty bad and I needed one, meaning that the stock clutch can definitely handle a couple of 12 second runs. I Kept going to the track, couldn't help it, its too addicting!!!

I have the HKS 272's and ARP head bolt kit sitting here but I have no time to install them. I am looking for a good front mount and I am leaning towards the Buschur one right one, his products are great. Most of my parts came from him including the exedy twin disk set up. Waiting for injectors and fuel pump to arrive and for Dave to HURRY with the turbo set up so I can get some 11 second passes!!!

By the way is it possible to polish the front mount to a mirror finish like the one from TurboXS?

It looks a little crooked. Look at the dark hole area on the left and right of the IC. The hole on the right is smaller than the one on the left, so the left must be a little lower or the right a little higher.

IC looks fine. The camera is not 100% centered. For those that are nit picking, ever notice that one of you T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ s is bigger than the other. : )

I kind of figured I was around there. It's been a while since I have upgraded my mod list on here so it's been updated with a few more things.

I was thinking the same thing about polishing. I didn't even run a rag over it I was in such a hury to get it on. If you look at the front shot picture there looks like a small blur in the middle right of the I/C. That is where the weld marks are. I wonder if I can buff that out.

stvbreal - I know you posted some pics of the intercooler already but by any chance did you take one facing the front of the car without the bumper on?

Also I noticed you are running a profecB, which I was running before till it died on me, I even have the new profecB spec-II which still works! Well the question is, you have yours set to 21 psi correct? Does it hold 21 psi constant and all the way to red line?

For some reason all of the boost controllers I've tried ever since I've added my exhaust won't hold solid boost to redline. They all spike to 21-22 and come down to 17-19, never consistant!!! So far the one that can hold it the best is the HKS EVC. I've gone over the intake system over and over, but can't find anything! I am going to see if I can pressurise the system this weekend to see if I have a leak somewhere.

Anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should start a thread on this one, what do you guys think?

Looks great man, just be careful about parking space bumpers, speed bumps and sharp entrance inclines. Wouldn't want to see that nice IC get all banged up.

Once in there was a bit of cutting of the under tray.
Hmm, Buschur's web site says no cutting or modifications to vehicle are necessary. Could you have installed it and left the undertray intact? David? It would seem cutting that area is a really bad area to cut, since now some airflow will take the path of least resistance, which is down under the car instead of through the cooling components. In addition, the undertray isn't very strong structurally, and it sure seems it will now balloon down at speed, causing drag and turbulence under the car.

Did the instructions say to cut that panel?

Other than that, I think it looks great.

I couldn't figure a way out without having to do some cutting. I may have cut more than necessary but I can't see it fitting wihtout cutting what I have. There were no isnturctions. If I had questions I called Buschur and they helped me out.

I havn't noticied any excessive noise at high speeds, 135mph. or noticed excessive drag, no change. Bottome secures tight with what is left over after cutting. It's not as bad as it seems.

Looks like I am going to have to take the bumper off and do some cleaning. On the fitst page of my post I have a few pics showing an area of the I/C that is a different color, like faded. What's weird is that the spot that was faded had small welds on it. Still trying to figure that out . But I'm sure if I use some Never Dull I can make it to look pretty decent. I just dred the damn plastic screws I have to take off, again . You think they could use more?

I talked to Jarrod today, and he said you do have to cut that panel. I will be picking mine up on Friday, and I think I will try heating up the undertray and deforming on opening for the I/C to sit. That should keep the undertray intact, and it still should not come down that low, since the part of the undertray you have to cut is the section that goes up towards the hood.

Those plastic screws suck, should just give us a bunch of those extra with the car.

The end tanks are 2.750" wide, the inlet is 2.25" and the outlet is 2.5".
