Dang well im leaning more to a ecu problem. I would say check the voltage for #1 at the ecu. Or do you have access to a labscope so you can check injector pulse width.

I did do some voltage tests at the injector harnesses, I'm not sure what I SHOULD be seeing, but I measured both AC and DC, came up with 0.3 volts on the 3 I tested., I'm not sure what type of signal it is, if anyone knows it would be appreciated

Need a labscope to find out how long that injector is stayin open. Then it would give you a better idea of where your problem is comming from

Short of that scope, does anyone else have any ideas? I'm going to pull the cam cover just to double check what should be good visually...

Took off the cover, the cams look good and the rockers are all there, but the first exhaust spring looks suspicious.... like the coils have bound perhaps the valve is bent? Here take a look...

Here's #1 open

Here it is closed...

Now here's what the rest look like, here's #3 exhaust open

Here it is closed

Back to number one, here's a different view, then a top looking down view

Need second opinion before ripping the head off, am I imagining things here or does that look wrong to anyone else?

I just fixed my car when it sounded like a Subie.

You answered it yourself. If it's getting fuel, forget the fuel system. If it's not getting spark, check ignition.

If it's #2 and #3, that sounds like a coil pack if you're on stock coils.

Mine the ECU. I sent it off and verify that it was bad. I don't remember who did it but got it back in a couple of days.
