lets notice something. how many people ***** about the BR double pumper?? i do not see anyone complaining. and if i do its mainly install error OR BR covers the issue if its defected.

full blown on the other hand has nothing but complaints from people who have bought one. do you see FB replying to the people with issues in just this thread? no. do a search. these units do not work. they do not cover a damn thing, and you do not get a full kit like you do with the BR unit.

a double pumper is needed IMO at the 550hp mark. get the BR unit. its proven.

we all agree the BR unit is the better of the two the full blown has its problems but they have sold a good amount of units and it gets the job done to for some reason it seems as if it was plagued with problems on the evo.

and you will need a double pumper before 550whp if you plan on running e85.

On our dyno, which reads about 13% lower than a Dynojet, our double pumper is needed around 500 whp.

I don't know if I have said it in this thread or not but we have now sold close to 600 double pumpers for the EVO's. The problems are few and far between. 99% of the time it's a guy who forgot to install his tank gasket that goes between the pump housing and tank and calls to complain the kit leaks when the tank is full......then he installs the gasket he forgot and the problem stops

Not disputing which is better, but saying "nothing but complaints" isn't correct. I have a FB that works without issue and has worked fine for two years. I bought mine bnib and it came with everything to plug into my existing stock lines or AN.

I guess different people get different results. If I hadn't found the FB so cheap I would have just made my own DP out of the stock hanger.

They both work fine but I would recommend Dave's. Its proven, and easy to install. Keep it simple!

Just get a BR and save yourself the trouble.

+1 The BR is way better and more reliable. People have issues with FB's all the time on all type of cars.
