FP RED Vs Greddy TD06-25G

I am thinking of Upgrade my turbo. I am using TD06-20G kits from Greddy. Any one can tell me if I switch to larger turbo(FP red or TD06-25G) Or even Billet machine a BB TD06 with 60-1 Compressor wheel . which will be better?

As I was hopping to get Spool up faster.. is that mean BB will always be faster compare to normal FP RED or Greddy turbo?( as I am no a Budget hoping not to Spend too much on the Billet Turbo*). what is the lag that I am looking for if I switch the turbo to FP RED or 25G?

Any one use the FP RED on street? how was it, when will the turbo start to FULL Boost? 25psi?...etc

Any infor will help me Decide?

I think you need to do a bit of reading about terms you are using.

If you're looking for a fast spooling street turbo on a semi budget, go with a FP Green, or a FP Red. Red spools a bit slower but is capable of much higher boost.

BUt from what I gathered in your post, my guess the best turbo for you would be a Green.

hhmmmnnn your sig says EVO 3

So thats not a reverse scroll turbo like the Evo 4-9 - yours should be similar to the old DSM's and its also not Twin Scroll if I remember correctly...

Maybe one of the DSM Guru's can sugest the right FP turbo for your application - I'm thinking somthing like a DSM 50 Trim drop-in solution...

let say we keep the same spec every things same like

1) Same stroket (billet Crank, Forge piston..etc)
2) larger Injector 850cc
3) larger Intercooler.
4) PowerFC ECU...etc

What will be the difference between this two turbo after install ( FP red / Greddy 25G )?

any advise?

Those turbo choices depend on what you're plans are for the car, how and where are you planning on driving it, etc.

You should start by confirming you have EVO3.

The RED turbo will not fit on EVO 3 without tremendous amount of work. here is a thread of me installing an EVO X style turbo in an early evo. To do this to your car you need an EVO X turbo setup from stock car, an evo RED for EVO X, and a tremendous amount of fabrication skills.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newb...-10-turbo.html

The GT3071 in the thread is for sale. it spools faster than the single scroll 20g and makes around 25 more HP.

The RED turbo is about same size as 25g. Both turbos can makes 525-550whp on a well setup car. But RED spools faster due to it being twin scroll in design. cost to get red on your car about 4000$ cost to get 25G on your car about 500$.
