yet another help thread

i drove the car to work this morning and it was fine threw out the entire rpm range.now on my way home i go to accelerate onto an entrance ramp and the car looses power up around 5k rpm and shutters lik an ic pipe came loose.but they are all intact.i turned down the boost from 23 down to 17 and tried that also. the car still feels lik its not pulling how ever it does not shutter like a boost leak on the lower boost setting.any ideas? mods are full exhaust with electronic cut out, injen intake , tune hallman mbc, exedy twin hd, motor mounts. any help is greatly apreciated. oh yeah and i do have a wieband but the 02 sensor went bad last week a new 1 is on the way.

Have you checked your spark plugs? when I ran autolites in my eclipse gsx I had the electrode insulator brake off and it ran like that?

Check the plugs and wires plugs, when I have had trouble with plugs it still runs fine till I hit boost, once you have boost that's when the condition of the plugs makes the most difference. If you buy new ones make sure you get Ngk plugs I would never recommended another kind

Plugs and wires are the only the only thing I can think of that would make your car run like that the plugs that you want are Ngk br7es.

Ya I wouldn't be scared to drive it that way at all your just not gonna have as much power and it might hurt your gas mileage. Just change them as soon as you can.

ill be changing them mon. could this poblem be fuel related? could the walbro not be running on the 14v cycle and only be running on the 12v ? my reasoning is because it was fine this morning when i got on it on the entrance ramp and as soon as i leave work it starts acting up. this was my most recent upgrade aswell.

Are you still running the stock intake? Check the two push tabs on the intake snorkel. If they are missing the snorkel gets pulled up against the hood under heavy loads.

You say it doesn't happen on lower boost, it's not boost cut right? Like your hitting a rev limiter?
