12's in QTR with just turbo back exhaust?

Just a few days ago (i am slow) i noticed people are getting 25-30 wheel hp out of a turbo back exhaust! I ran a few 13.4's with my stock evo.

is the 30hp enough to get down to the 12's.?

Anyone have some timeslips with just turboback exhaust?

I got 35 to the wheels with a turbo-back. Though, I'd never drag race my car (from a dead-stop).

You got lucky 35 hp from just a Turbo-back, I seen alot of people post 20-25 hp.

I got the Ultimate Turbo-back exhaust on mine. The dyno only showed a 12-14 hp gain, with a 3" cat in place. If I would run a Test-pipe I should gain 8-10 hp more. So I figure around 25 hp could be gain in a nice exhaust.

I got the RMR catback, downpipe, and UR 3" cat. Although, I forgot to mention I have the K&N drop-in filter, lighter wheels and tires, as well. Maybe those things might have helped a little.

I've run high 12's on a bone stock car, so its likely that if your a good consistent driver that you can get into the high 12's if you haven't already with the car stock.

the 12's while stock were on a cooler day (mid 70's) low humidity, running 94 octane gas at the time I had a boost gauge an no other mods other than 4000 miles on the car..

I don't have the slip anymore.. But my 60' was about 1.9 I don't recall my trap speeds, but they were a little bit higher than others with similar times had posted.

malibu... it's hard for me to believe a 12 sec 1/4 with a 1.9 60'... and it's stock??? do you have any other time slips besides the high 12? you have to have plenty of low 13 sec timeslips...

you'd be the first one i know of, if you can prove it

I would think it would be damn hard to run 12's with a stock car period, let alone an awful 1.9 60' time. I don't think anyone has run 12's with a stock car yet............ are you sure that wasn't for the 1000' mark or something?

I ran 13.4's with low 1.8's in the 60'..... trap speed 102mph...

Sorry to call BS on ya, but i don't you ran 12's with a stock car.
