well since were on the subject of porting, I am wondering if I can get some advice.

I am probably going to hand port my 02 housing her at my shop to try to save some money, has anyone done this recently, any advice? and as far as the turbo goes, I'm not too sure what I want to do, what are porting options on the stock turbo??

Get a set of bigger cams and pickup a used IX turbo(they're cheap).

well changing to a IX turbo would help, and you can find them for 350-500 all day long here in the FS forums. Better immediate and long term results then getting a tubular mani. I have a megan mani (4 years, no cracks) but thats because i got it diiiiirt cheap, and this was a few years back before we knew better. the only way to make more power then a ported stocker is with a Full-race or the new Shearer mani, but youre gonna drop over 1k bones on it.
get more aggressive cams, cossie m2, kelfords, gsc 2s....most of these companies will say theure too big for the stocker but english proved they work just fine.
too bad you already got internals, going with high comp pistons wouldve helped you with your goal
Meth isnt allowed in autox, so thats out. they will verify an empty tank and possibly make you disconnect the hoses on top of an empty tank.
