I really do not know what car you are referring to. The only car we sponsor in the CO area is David Kern and his pikes peak car.

if you like you can PM me.

The car in question that Wicked E brought up is not a sponsored car and from what he said it looks like something was wrong with the car so the test he is referring to is not valid.

Again when we get the chance to put this head on say a 450whp is car I will post up our results. I am confident that the head will do great things.

Eric,

I know of this car that E speaks about. The local guy here rants and raves about your stuff, which he has good reason too, its great stuff but he also says that he is sponsored by you guys and tells everyone he is. It's not a car that if I owned AMS would want to ever sponsor. May need to set this guy straight.

Correct. Car was not a good candidate due to internal issues.

this is an awesome read... I'm in the market and learned a lot by just rewading through this. I had no idea that oversized valves were not good for a 400-600whp car.

I love both AMS and Buschur. I happen to have a AMS 2.3rr bottom end. Normally I would have never bought it because its way out of my price range, but someone here sold it to me for very very cheap otherwise i would have gotten a Buschur 2.3. I plan on putting a buschur head on this as well.

Here is a picture of our Stage 3 head work. This is all done by hand by the same guy on every head. 58 heads were built and shipped in 2008. This is the head going on Project White at our shop now.

Enjoy.

HeadGames is certainly more then just a name..it's a name synonymous with making horsepower. This is not our first rodeo, we have been in business more then just a few years. We have many championships, record setting cars under our belt. Luck did not gain us this knowledge, experience did. Which is why when you call HeadGames looking for a cylinder head, whatever your goals are..we can get you there with our knowledge able staff and port designs that fit your needs, not ours. That's what makes HeadGames different in this arena. We don't employ a one size fits all philosophy which benefits no one but the shop that can cookie cutter the head..We have different valve jobs, port designs and part selections for every application. Whether it is a road race, drag race, wicked street car..and even the daily driver we have something for you. Because we are not a shop that happens to sell cylinder heads, we are one of the top cylinder head shops in the country that does everything in house! And we have proven this time and time again...

some satisfied, record setting, championship winning customers....we do more then just Evo's...

This is where our history kinda started in the sport compact arena..record setting and many championships with these cars, thanks to a great team of amazing people..
