Slight clunk noise
Slight clunk noise
I wondering if this is normal. (car has only 17k miles and easy driving) When my car is only in 2nd gear and around 1500 rpm when it seems the tension is just released on any drivetrain parts I hear a single clunk noise from underneath the car. Its coming from the passenger side I think but almost from the center but its hard to tell. It doesn't happen at any other rpm or gear but just when the tension is relieved coming from deacceleration. It seems to happen more when I go over a slight bump in the road as well at that rpm. Its something def new for sure. Could this be a lower motormount or axle, or drivetrain issue?
Another question was is it normal for evo's to have a slight feel of grinding when turning? There is no noise of this but I can feel it slightly during sharp left and right hand turns? There is a minor whining noise in lower gears but goes away at higher rpm's.
