Overflow.

 

nothing.. it is for overflow.. in the event the spring in the radiator cap opens and flows coolant into the overflow tank... should the overflow tank itset overflow, it would escape thru that hose onto the ground. nothing complicated

 

that hose vents to atmosphere for the overflow tank...

 

It's just the overflow tank's dump. It dumps straight down onto the pavement. VTA

 

hahaha i like that terminology VTA for the overflow haha

 

This is the only VTA that is good for our car.

 

Too bad we cant buy interchangeable sound inserts for them!
