OMG catch can thread!
With the search busted and being useless, this is my only choice. I've made a few catch can threads in the past, and I have my PCV side taken care of. I'm using an Elite Engineering catch can. I LOOOVE it. But now, I've been thinking about my breather side.
Right now I'm just running a hose to a remote hidden inline fuel filter. It seems to work well. Still, I'm afriad some oil vapors may pass through.
I've thought about just running a filter off the valve cover so there's no chance of the oil getting into the IC pipes, but I don't want an oily mess. So I thought, I'll buy a cheap hollow catch can. It doesn't need to be a special baffled one like the Saikou Michi or the Elite Engineering one I'm using on the PCV side. I'm thinking about running a hose to the inlet. And on the outlet, install a breather filter. I've seen it a few times before.

Now onto the REAL question. Since I'm still using the stock ECU and running my stock MAF, would this set up cause any issues since I'm not introducing metered air into the crackcase at cruising conditions (therefore also being pulled through the PCV into the intake manifold). I wouldn't think such a SMALL leak of metered air would cause any issues, but I don't know. That's why I'm asking
Also, would the lack of vaccum from the intake under WOT and boost have any great affects on the crackcase pressure?

the catch can on the crankcase breather does not catch any/much oil. i have had mine there for 3 months and drove the car over 3000 kms and have not caught anything lol. i need to change over to the PCV.
just leave it as is.

^^ditto on that
On my valve breather for a month got not a drop of oil
On PCV, in first few mins of operation, saw oil moving

i am gonna do a change tonight. i guess i will need a couple fittings to tap the lines right?
from PCV valve, i used a lil piece of hose and a 90deg bend to angle to the can(mounted on shock tower) and then used a sleeve to join return line from catch can to existing line on intake
Wait nah, rolly LOL

but thats your fault, u eh look to see what u catch?
mth end done, work done, if wasn't for friday sales meeting I was going home to change oils
btw, aren't u glad u know better now
the timing u pulled back is the 5hp from a combustion chamber with alot of hot spots from this crud
