Yeah, an HTA35 on a high compression 2.4L (10 or 10.5-1) would love E85 to the point of 600-650whp. . . more than the OP is wanting. If you only want 450 whp - go with an FP Green or an FP Red. . . .

seem like the 35r is a bit over power 600whp, I probally spining on the back corner haha. I just over built the engine because I dont want it fail on track. save then sorry ...
my friend kept telling my run stock it hold up to 650whp but i dunno how long it gonna last in track with that power. well ill keep update on the turbo but still looking for both right now. ( twinscroll my choice )

The 30R in all of its configurations(3037, 3071, 3076) has been relegated to the status of an historical footnote by such bolton turbos as the CBRD BBK-Full, and the FP Red. The Red outflows the 3076 and is cheaper to boot.

Think about this...with an HTA 35 on 93 octane pumpgas and the stock ECU, you'll get more HP than you ever will with a 3076 on race gas, with a standalone! Just decide whether you'll run the 1.06, or .82 turbine housing. Since you're 2.4 Liter, I wouldn't worry about TS. Just run the high compression ratio build.

sound like HTA 35 bang for buck run on 93 with same power ehh.... but will the boost come late ok on track tho ? I mean if i use the HTA 35 i will need to run high RPM all the time to keep the car go out the corner faster ? ( kinda common sense just to make sure )

Whoa whoa whoa... lets hit the brakes a bit here... We've established that you want a car for road coarse but what is your experience behind the wheel? No one is born a 600hp road racer it takes some experience. If you are a vet to road courses (time attack or otherwise) Then go with an HTA 35 and worry more about the supension and driveline; but since you ARE asking about the turbo it tells me you are an amature road racer (<== Not an insult AT ALL) go with a 30r run it around a bit get to know some people and move on from there.

I race mustangs on dirt and from my experience you get the best information from fellow competitors in the same class.

What do mustangs in the dirt have to do with 30R's?

well i'm not amature road coarse but i need the car that can do 400-600 whp, dont want to spend money on turbo again. Try to make a car that can do over 600whp and degrade it down to 400 also. Then test drive it until get use to the car then go up

and wassup with mustangs anyway ??

What you need is an HTA 35R. Just have two separate tunes which you can flip back and forth between. In the begining the pumpgas tune of 530+WHP, and once you feel more comfortable with it, at the push of a button, voila, a 630+ WHP Race Gas tune. Maybe with the 2.4 you'll want the .82 housing instead of the .63. I don't know. But someone with experience running a HTA 35R on a stroker motor on a roadcourse can best give you advice on the choice of turbine housing.

In Britain and Europe, a lot of the top hillclimb Evos run stroker motors with the 35R. It seems to spool just fine for them. Check ou the videos on YouTube. Also, most posts that I've seen on EvoM concerning the HTA-35/.63 housing combo, on 2.3 strokers, say that it spools very fast on time attack cars, etc.

Just trying to make the point that when you're racing in a class you can usually get some good advice from other racers... The mustang on a dirt track is just my racing background, don't think too much into it, I was slightly intoxicated last night

This would only hold true in the southern hemisphere.
