installing ETS intercooler

hey i'm installing the 3.5'' intercooler and i bought it used from a member on here and i wasn't supplied with the silicon couplers. i mounted it and i'm almost 100% you need aftermarket couplers with this...

so my question is what size couplers do i need? i think it might be 2.5'' but i'm not sure...and where could i get them in town? would auto zone carry these?

thanks in advance

Most auto part stores will have silicon couplers. They will be low grade, but they will work. As far as the diameter, best if you measure them to be sure. I think ETS is 3" but i could be wrong. Just measure them so you dont have to drive back.

They're 2.5" I.D. I'm almost certain.

All you need are two 2.5 inch standard straight couplers

Yup! We have couplers in stock ready to go! If you go to a local automotive store, make sure it's a decent silicone coupler. We offer 4ply and T-bolt clamps in black or blue!

Thanks,

Michael

Definitly make sure you get some nice clamps or you'll be pulling over wondering where your "boost went"

auto parts stores will not have silicone couplers in stock. that is more of a speed shop product. you just need to call ets, bushur, ams, map etc.

and its 2.5" inlet and outlet.

id recomend just going to ETS. alot easier and you wont have the hassel. They hooked me up with couplers and they have been working great. Save yourself the paine of cheap autozone couplers.
