Drop in rods and pistons
I would go with buschur racing JE pistons and Crower rods, their personal specs.. I used both on my evo and was making near 600whp no problem..
n sorry i dont remember how much labor i paid to install them..

Usually drop-in and labor will run about $2000. I know of several cars that are running well in the 600s with it done. As for the bearings, I would use either clevite(i think i spelled that wrong) or the new acl tri-metals.
I guess even if the labor is $2000 its still cheaper then going with a built motor. The pistons on Buschurs site are they the ones used in drop in builds? Also iam in need of a clutch also the only bad thing is i have the 6speed. I was looking at the Fidanza clutches are they any good?
