Drop in Pistons+Rods: BS Removal?

Im doing drop in pistons and rods in my IX and wondering if I should remove the balance shafts? Is it wise to do so? The car is driving hard and daily, only going to rev to 8500rpms....

Thanks
Dan

What are your reasons for wanting to stick with the stock ECU?

inspection? money? drivability?

Driveabilty and money. I can care less about inspection. I just drive the car ALOT so I dont want to deal with AEM. I dont have the money right now to do it, So I want to make the most of the stock ECU before I switch.

If you are driving the car very hard, it can be good for reliability and about 10whp. It's a pretty big hassle to do with the engine still in the car from what I understand, but seems like it could be worth it if you really want to make sure your engine is as reliable as possible.
Some people claim it causes more vibration, others say it's almost unnoticeable even with solid/stiffer engine mounts. Most of the people who have complained about noticeable vibration have used a Fluidampr to alleviate it with great results.
