the EXHAUST thread
I'm still debating on what downpipe to purchase, one with or without flex section, with built in 02 housing eliminator or to just get the downpipe now and purchase a separate 02 housing eliminator later on, any suggestions or advice would be greatly appretiated.... to ad to the opinions given here, I am currently running stock downpipe with UR cat delete and RMR catback, love the sound, could do without the exaust stain on bumper but that's what you have to live with when running catless and have the RMR, just love the angled look to want anything else, has anyone found a gaurd piece of any sorts for the exhaust exit on the back bumper?

well it's not a full titanium exhaust since the DP isn't titanium, but you're damn close.

My boost (stock) also increased. Before, in 1st to 3rd gear, it will spike to 1.3bar and will settle to 1.2bar and in 4th to 5th gear, it stays steady in 1.3bar. Now, it increased by 0.1bar. So it reaches 1.4bar (20.58 psi) now.

Take out the cat, it will improve your torque.

So... plain and simple, on a stock car which exhaust system will give you the most whp? It seems like it is the AVO, cause it is said to put 20whp with just the cat back while hte B&B puts 24whp but with a down pipe. I really want to get exhaust but i want to get the one that puts down the most whp. The 4 that i am looking at is Burscher, B&B, RnR, and AVO. Not counting sound, just going on price and performance, which should i go for?

I also have HKS Type-1 TT, HKS EVC V and GReddy e-manage. Tuned by Boost-Solutions. I have my daily driver boost set at 16psi, and high boost set at 21psi. Stock internals should be able to handle about 24-25psi but you dramatically decrease the longevity of your engine and turbo running boost that high. I would stay around 20.5-21.5psi to be safe.
question for Buschur Cat-back owners
I have a question for Bushcur Cat-back owners. I am planning on buying the cat-back from Buschur (will upgrade later to their turbo back with high flow cat). If I want to run their cat-back with my factory cat in place, how will this be possible as the Buschur cat-back has no flanges and the factory pipe does? Their crimp connectors only seem to work with their piping. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated.
