wow i actually read this whole thing..... well i got my exhaust decision narrowed down . i really leaning more toward the buschur because i used one of his exhaust on my 1g awd and it was perfect, the price was nice and he shipped it to me when i was stationed in Germany....
My other one would be the b&b.... still got about 2 weeks before i make my purchase..... not to mention i only had the car 10 days.... thanks guys for the help.

I don't think anyone here has posted a link for the Ultimate Racing turbo back exhaust. I think it sounds real throaty and pretty loud and im planing on buying it myself. Here is the link with 1/4 mi vdeo and sound clips, just scroll down.

Guys,
I have decided to go with HKS Hi-power but have a few questions before I actually spend the $$$.
Is the quality of the regular one (black pipes) and 30th aniversary (polished) the same or is the 30th one better?
Their website doesn't say what's the difference.
Are they street legal?
On the RMR site it says that their exhaust is the only street legal one. I checked HKSusa, they say some are some aren't but nothing specific.
Thanks!

I have the Carbon-Ti on my Evo. Between the 30th anniversay and the Carbon-Ti the piping is the same, just the muffler is different. So I really don't see any issues of the quality being different between the two. Now for the basic Hi-Power I'm not sure. It is aluminized steel with some kind of finish to it. I forgot what they protect it with.
I'm sure the process of making it is the same, but you have a higher chance of rust on the regular Hi-Power.

Our turbo back with the high flow cat will pass emmissions anywhere. We use a nice 3" cat in our systems.
As a side note, just about anyones cat should pass.

Most aftermarket systems with a cat will pass a tail-pipe test. It's the visual that you guys need to be worried about. Emissions standards are a local enforcement issue, so you’ll need to check on the exact enforcement and testing procedures in your area.

Keep an eye on our website early next week for further information. We don't have vendor privileges here (not sure how much I want them with all the vendor squabbles that go on here) so I don't want to step over the line into advertising.
