Synapse BOV
try it

Now, I just need to configure it to fit better in my stock set up. I'm not satisfied by the way Synapse advised positioning it. It's leaning against my radiator hose, and the C-port is right up to the UICP bend.
I have mine hooked up like post 60 ( I think). I had flutter in 5th gear over 10psi or so. I did a boost leak test and found a vacuum line had pooped off that no one had noticed (first time I did the boost leak test myself). After reattaching the vacuum line I do not have flutter except a little when releasing the gas in 5th.
I've messed with a pre-load a ton now and havent found anything that works, sometimes its better but never near good. I need to try with both A + B + C and then mess with the preload nad see if I can find something. My flutter is so bad that when I do very light boost in 5th or 6th and then let go, its like Hiroshima is coming down theres so much flutter, and sometimes my car starts to jerk, and thats at 50-70MPH
My car drives great if I don't ever boost hahah.

I am at a loss, I am calling Synapse on Monday and see if they have any input. I now have both A + B again and it does decent under heavy load, but if I am not like 60% plus on throttle for a decent amount of time, I flutter. Any like quick acceleration for just a few seconds, always causes huge amounts of flutter. FWIW I am running pretty long rubber hoses to my BOV (it is horizontal) and I have a huge Exhaust Manifold leak.
Fix your exhaust leak and check for boost leaks as well. I though I was ok and found a vacuum line disconnected causeing a major leak and making my bov flutter so bad it would pull me out of boost in 5th.
I currently only experience a little flutter when releasing the gas at low boost in 5th gear only.
A and B are on one " T ". I believe that A goes straight to boost source at manifold and B " T's " into it. The second pick show C going down to boost source of the turbo outlet pipe. C goes straight to the boost source and my EBC " T's " into that line.

Just a heads up. I have a synapse for sale with the TiAL adapter if any one is interested. I switched to speed density and now I'm using a TiAL 50mm valve.
This is the best valve for recirc'd setups IMO

Anyone running a big turbo.
I have a GT4088 and am thinking about getting this over the Tial. Any advantages with it? From reading this thread seems to be a ton of problems.

Josh,
Are you running the stock ECU/MAF?
I ran an FP Red @ 40+psi. It held boost like a champ and drove much better than the TiAL 50mm vented atmospherically WITH the maf.
If you're using Speed Density - TiAL. If you're using the MAF/recirc... synapse.

A will try to get pics of the area it was in. I was on the passanger side of the car under the intake manifold. With it quiet outside I did a boost leak test and heard the swoosh noise. I just followed the sound. With the vaccum line disconnected I did not throw any codes.
That one was off as well. There is a little solenoid with three vacuum lines attached. One white, one blue, one yellow. I think it is just a little further down the line from the Egr. When it was off it did not cause a code. When I had one pop directly off my Egr I threw a code. I will try to get my pics to transfer.
