blown head gasket??

recently got a licp custom built, and after that I have been having problems...

figured I was over boosting by crazy amounts (after damage was done)
checked my data logging... the one day my boost gauge was out of service is when I should of had it connected.

So to sum it up... was boosting 25+ on all stock everything
would the vacuum line from the wastegate that usually connects to the stock licp not being connected cause this?? I was thinking it should be connected to the intake mani (since my aftermarket licp doesn't have a nipple to connect where it would of gone on stock licp) but at the time it was just plugged to solve as a temporary fix.

later that day.. coolant started to spew all over. I looked under my car and figured it was on the opposite side of where the radiator hoses are so left side of engine. So I figure it is a head gasket?? hoping head isn't warped.. anyone experience something similar or have any thoughts to exactly what happened??

Since you have a aftermarket licp... and you don't have a vacuum nipple.. you still have to connect the vacuum line from the wastegate to a pressure source... you can't just leave it hanging ....

maybe just a hose ripped so the antifreeze is leaking out....check that first...
have somebody fill your radiator with water while you look for the leak....

I blew a line between the valve cover and the throttle body. Coolant was EVERYWHERE!!! I thought it was a head gasket. I lost heat, the gauge started to rise and i shut it off. After hours of searching I saw one of the lines that runs to the TB was sliced open. Worth a check.

wow. Not good at all. You can always try a compression test? Where should someone plug in the vac. line if there isn't a nipple on the LICP?

I have more specific detail to which vacuum line was disconnected.. would this being disconnected cause crazy amounts of over boost?? it would right?

Yes, that would cause high boost.

could be, but do a compression test anyway. Was it the water pump or just one of the O rings in the pump? Our water pumps appear to be very basic and sturdy, I am skeptical of it going bad. But, if that is the case, they are not difficult to replace. You do have to get down to the timing belt unfortunately.
