Install Replica Tial BOV???

Ok, I know this is somewhat a dumb question but I recently purchased my FMIC and somehow it came with the replica tial bov because it doesn't have Tial engrave or sticker on the bov. Should I use it or keep my stock 8 bov since I'll be installing my Tomei ARMS once it gets here?? Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks

What does the replica look like? Are you able to recirculate with it? Your better off buying the metal IX DV but if its free and recirculates then try it out and see if it holds boost.

Like all tial bov, it doesn't recirculate air back to the intake. My current stock 8 bov works fine. It's just that I have to customize my UICP to get the pipe that the flange for the tial will fit the UICP

slow down there captain, tial does indeed make recirculating bov's, now what you need to do is throw that piece of **** fake bov in the trash, have a nice day.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'm going to hold off on the install of the bov for now. Might have to get the real tial or probably just get the stock 9 bov. I have another question though. Besides the sound, is there any benefit to have air recirculate back to the intake?

come on man no need to be critical. If you want to run the Tial knock off go for it. I know lots of DSM's that run the knock offs and no problems at all. Really more than anything you need to decide if you want to weld on the flange or not. you can go back later but its hard and really easier just to buy another pipe. And heck its free. Also Evo 8's do have some problems with venting to the Atmo with there BOV, if you want to test it out, try making the Stock bov Vent to atmo and try it, so far as I have seen every car if different with its setup and such.

Well the sound is quieter when you recirculate, as for benefits, well they say that you will have beter AF when you have between shifts and such. I am sure its a little but you know does not matter much to me personally, I have been VTA for a while now and I like it, less piping also.
