bosch fuel pump

I asked earlier about fuel pump alternatives to Walbro. Apparently the well known in tank pump from other vehicles (audi, porsche, bmw, etc.) is now available for Evo. This is the Bosch 040. I know from experience it is quiet and very reliable (search around other forums, many say more than walbro). It flows 300l/m and operates at 94 psi! It costs about $300 from many vendors, I just ordered mine for $270 from Eric at Full Race. It should easily drive my 1000cc bosch saturated injectors.
Now, because the search feature hasn't answered my questions, can someone recomend a high quality 1:1 100 psi fuel pressure regulator?

I was literally just looking into the Bosch unit (I hate the Walbro whine / buzz). What else is needed to make the Bosch unit work with the Evo ? Did Full Race sell you a 'kit' or just the pump?

The 040 pump can be found for ~$170 http://boschfuelpumps.com/

Thanks in advance

That Bosch may be an "in-tank" pump, but what is the diameter of the pump housing? If it's not 38mm like the stock pump (or smaller), it won't fit in the factory housing...

In the DSM world, we could drop a nice high flow OEM Supra Denso pump into a 1G tank. There's gotta be a Denso out there that flows similarly but in the smaller 2G/EVO body size. Maybe the stock GTR pump or something...

There is a Denso pump that fits. AP Boss sells it. It's quite expensive compared to a Whinebro, but has OEM quality and is quiet.

I would much rather prefer the sound of the Walbro whine over the dreaded tranny whine.

You can buy it from AP Boss. It flows about 240 liters per hour, similar but slightly lower than the Walbro.
