400whp on stock injectors?? Has it been done?
I am trying to set some short term goals here and was looking for 400whp on stock 8 560 injectors, I have seen people close but was wondering if anyone has actually done it on pump or not?
I have searched already, mmmkay

Back in the day, we ran 11.0 @ 123 on RC 550s with a 1G DSM on a 20g, running VP103 unleaded, AFRs were in the 13s and duty cycles were pegged. Never saw a dyno but I'd guess whp was well above 400. Apples and oranges, I know, but it illustrates that VE, octane, timing, and fuel pressure can have a big effect on what a given injector can do.

Off the top of my head, I think it was about 43psi (stock 1G DSM is 37psi).
As another example, when I first got my EVO running I was still using the stock injectors just to work out the bugs, running the BBK lite turbo, and I was pegging the stock IDCs at 20psi with AFRs in the high 10s-low 11s on 93 octane.

Not trying to be an *** or anything like that but I gotta wonder, why the restriction to stock injectors? Factory ECU can deal with injectors up to about about 780 very well, and they are only a couple hundred bucks a set? Why would you want to risk under fueling and melting your internals when pushing for 400whp?
I've seen some mid high 300whp cars on stock injectors but like lots on here have mentioned that involves methanol injection. I would suggest the safe route and go with a walbro and 780cc injectors. Its always wise to have a small margin of extra capacity on the injectors over what your max fueling will be (maybe 10 or 15%) Better safe than sorry! Why risk a motor for 300$ set of injectors?

like lucas said from english racing, 400 whp is not possible on stock injectors without meth, E85, or race fuel.
i put down 371 on a dynojet on stock injectors and that was maxing them out with full bolt ons.
so stock injectors should take you to the 370 range.
