whats up guys, so i bought an 8 with 56k on it, previous owner had mods done to it and turned it pretty much to stock, well stock turbo and pipes and fuel but the car is safe to handle 500hp (was told from the shop that worked on the car) and supposedly has a shep trans

so far have hks intake,turbo back exhaust no cat, fmic upgrade with larger pipes and walbro255, hallman manual boost controller and an aem wideband and boost gauge.

next on purchase list are, 272cams 1000cc injectors
just wondering about how much whp you guys think id make with this? I'd love to hit around 400whp

and considering some turbo upgrades but for later this season(suggestions please)

 

All depends on fuel type, turbo 8 vs 8.5, boost, tune, dyno type, temp, compression ratio of the motor, etc. Way too many variables to account for.

 

Bench racing is the best. OP will make exactly 438hp.

My guess would be about the same. 330awhp +/- 10awhp depending on the tune and dyno.

Don't think you need 272 your gunna end up with idle issues and be right back on the forums asking why. if your gunna be on a stocker, 264 is more than enough cam for your setup just like u said not trying to break the bank, we'll that infers no huge full race setup or even a larger fp. Your gunna put around 340 I think
