Drivetrain clunking, video inside

I've got 2 videos of the sound my car makes when on jack stands and you let off the clutch swiftly. It will also do this on the ground if you are backing up and give it a little gas while letting the clutch out swiftly. Not dropping it but not slipping it really.

I'm hoping this is from a 10lb flywheel and 6 puck sprung clutch, Energy suspension rear mustache bar bushings/diff. bushings? Blox front MM.
All these these where changed at the same time over winter.

Input? Thoughts on the sound and could it be normal due to the mods listed? If you let the clutch out very slowly this does not happen.

Are you sure the sound is coming from that area? Sounds almost identical to the exhaust hitting the driveshaft down stream. When the clutch pedal is released quickly it could be moving the exhaust enough to hit.

Might be worth looking at.

My car is doing the same thing. What I have found out is, when I am under the car (car not running) I moved the drive shaft back in forth and it makes the pinging noise. I think it might be from the ring and pinion having to much slack.

When you drive your car do you have the death wine? I thought at first it was my exhust hitting but it wasn't till I looked my self.

I am going to be sending my T-case to shep to have it rebuilt.

First thing I thought was the exhaust hitting, checked it out with a friend. Does not seem to be the exhaust hitting.

My TC was just inspected, new 04 RS OEM LSD installed, reshimmed, and mesh zone checked out. Every EVO has drivetrain slop, you're dealing with 3 differentials and all of them will show the backlash when you spin the driveshaft.

Has anyone ever had the springs in the clutch disk hub break? How does that sound or how can you tell they broke? Someone suggested this may have happened. However it started doing this before I every launched the car with the new clutch.

Check the rear engine mount, I was getting a weird drive train noise for the longest and couldn't figure it out and by chance when looking around the engine bay I noticed that there was no bolt in the rear engine mount.

Not to revive, but i get this sound as well.

it seems to be from the driveshaft itself and i get it when the car is coasting in 4th 5th in low RPMs...

I want to believe it's either the u joint or the backlash as the manual states is out of spec...

Does anyone else hear that noise?
