Mystery Camshafts...Help Identify

Hello,
I purchased a set of camshafts on here which were supposed to be HKS 272's Unfortunately there are no marking on them other than the number one. The number is engraved on both cams. Here is a picture. Anyone familiar with these cams?

I can snap some more photos if that would help. In all honesty they are going to look like any other set of cams. Besides the number one which is posted above there are no other markings.

Where specifically on the cams should I take photos of?

Doesn't HKS cams have "HKS" stamped on their cams?

do the cams have different looking ends? At least they are not stock cams.
Hope you get it sorted out.

Seems like you got scammed with a stock pair of cams. Just take off your valve cover and compare.

I sure hope these arent stock cams. My head is coming off in the next couple of days so I will be able to compare them with the stock cams.

Both cams have the number one engraved on them and there is both an intake and exhaust cam as one has the slotted end. Any other ideas of what they are? I can take pictures of any specific area if it would help.

Now I am aware that the stock IX cams were hollow. Is the same true for VIII cams as these are def not hollow?

the intake cam will have the groove cut out on one end if it was stock (not sure with aftermarket)

MOST aftermarket companies engrave a name/size on the fat end of both cams.

They are not hollow. One of the cams does indeed have a groove cut on the end. Are the VIII cams hollow or just the IX?

Who did you buy them off of? Did you question them about it yet?
