You should be running 10w30 Mobil, its in the car manual. U need 5.4qts exaxtly any less and you'll get a low oil light on your dash.

Don't deviate from whats recommended. Just save your money and stick with the recommended mobil 1. You can get a five qt. jug at wally world for twenty bucks.

Really, I've never used 5.4 exactly and i've never had the oil light come on. Do you have any aftermarket parts on your car? I bet doesn't recommend aftermarket parts.

It will take 5.3-5.4 qts if you blow out the oil cooler and lines.. Only talked to 1 person that has done that..

The test used is a Falex Bearing tester and there is no applicable place in an engine the relates to that test.

Use of the ASTM D-4172 or D-4172B 4-Ball would be better suited.

Also, RP has been asked to remove all advertising referring to any test reports as they are only from people reporting their findings and not through the use of Certified Tests.

they didn't even dared to test AMSOIL.

what company would dare to run 25,000k on their oil only AMSOIL plus is made
even more 35,000k on our SSO 0W30

Four Ball Wear Test
(ASTM D-4172B @ 40 kgf, 75°C, 1200 rpm, 1 hour), Scar, mm, .35

Do me a favor and check on the bottle to see if the TOTAL Oil is produced in France. I found this oil available to me locally, but in 5W-40.

for about the same price we can get you dominator RD 15w50, oil designed to be abused

check out the Brad Penn, true Ball Wear test conducted, it had good amount of wear almost bouble than AMSOIL, even Red Line is doing better , tells me that cheaper is not always better when you are dealing with a turbo thats 2k and an engine thats almost 4k,,, lots of dough involved to save 1$ a quart
