A billet wheel, either FP or PTE would be my choice. The Precision should be a little cheaper. Increase compression is another option, but im sure you dont want to open up the motor since stroker is out of the question

I'd love to have a stroker kit, but cannot afford to spend that amount of cash at the moment...

did you ever find out what hotside you have? .63 or .82?

Depending on which style you have its either ~$200 or $400

Do you have a plot of your boost graph, that's some crazy spool? BTW you should try out the twin scroll manifold and hotside to help your spool including adjustable cam gears.
here ya go. Mines a 5 speed box...

Boost was unstable on that run , car in the shop getting a few more mods and some fine tuning. Will post an updated graph onces its all sorted.

Post a datalog on the road because that would probably be the fastest spooling 35r I've ever heard of and would like to see a boost plot. I'm on a 2.4 with .63 a/r HTA and make 30 psi at 4500 rpm in 4th gear.
Run was forth gear, in 5 speed Evo VIII.

Im very happy with the spool, im installing M&W Pro14b and coil upgrade, and fuel system upgrade because on that run i was starting to run lean.

But yeah, very happy with the setup. Pretty sure the .63 is almost out of puff at 27psi.... am going to keep turning up the boost til it stops making power, then turn it down 1-2psi to keep it efficient.

Are you on the 5-bolt .63? If so I've ran that to 41 psi. If you are on a 4-bolt maybe you are right and that is why you spool so well. It is said the .63 5-bolt is larger than the 4-bolt .63.

As for spool, dyno's can be deceiving would be interested in a datalog on the road.

Cams will NOT help with spool, only cams that sometimes do are small cams like 264's.

The .63 would do the most for spoolup followed by a proper retune with a lot of attention to timing to get the spoolup under control.

I'll try to get a datalog done soon, on the road watching the boost gauge, im confidient the dyno is reading correctly. before 100kph ~62mph, the car is pulling hard in 4th.

I was thinking the 35r would be too laggy but im pleasently surprised. Very good setup for combination of street/drag/circuit
