$20 SS Clutch Line

Having been in the DSM world for a few years, I noticed that the stainless clutch line from Road Race for the 2G DSM looked an awful lot like those other lines going for $50 and up for the EVO. So, I ordered one and installed it. It is longer than the stock line and the bracket where the two lines meet needed a slight bend (about a millimeter) to pop into place. The banjo bolt is also slightly longer, but the test fit showed that it wouldn't bottom out. Other than that, it's flawless.

Nice! So would you recommend this? How hard was it to modify the piece? Have you had a chance to take a test drive, if so, how does it compare?

I highly recommend anything RRE puts its name on I've been a satisfied customer for a while now. I've used this part on my DSM for 4 years and it's still going strong. I finished up late tonight and haven't driven it yet, but the line is bled and all is ready to go.

Modifying the bracket was just a matter of a pair of pliers squeezing the metal tabs out towards the edges. It took all of 30 seconds.
