Damian,
My friend just bought a red from a member over the weekend BNIB, he will have it in his hands tommorow..

A low blow I know

I'm sure once FP catches wind of the negative conversation here on evom they will be quick to get it to you finally..It's a shame really, if they are so backed up it's time to invest in upgrading the workforce and/or equipment to streamline the process..

9 weeks is pretty insane, especially when it seems like everyone else is getting dibs and already at the track with theirs..

There is something else but it slips my mind on what it was. As soon as I confirm with Rob this upgrade will let everyone know and he projects this upgrade could potentionally yield vs. the most recent Reds
Very interesting....

Fyi, I waited 3 months to receive my Red and I ordered it mid last year before the huge craze. I can not imagine what the real wait time is now.

Great, so now everyone ordered product X and is getting something different. So much for proven performance And a 3" inlet? Goodbye stock compressor cover? wtf.

Its not a new casting for the housing. No way. I'm sure its modified to fit the stock housing. I can't see a reason they would do this for free unless this would cure a reliability issue many reds seem to have.

Also have to remember that it would no longer be stock appearing.

This was no extra charge Rob mentioned that all the persons waiting that are going to get this batch of turbos himself and his staff would be calling to ask which would they like. But like I said I want to confirm this with him. I chose the 3"
Thanks for sharing as much that you know

Many of us appreciate it.

Now wouldn't the compressor cover actually help more with surging issues rather than creep

Well i sure hope Robert gets a chance to break free and post the new info for the new prospective buyers waiting to ship their turbos out like me (i don't think Tony will be giving his up now )

I have some video conference meetings with India for the next 3 hours so if and when Rob gets back to me I'll be sure to share the exhaust details.

If your buddy is bummed and wants the newer versions updates i'm sitting here waiting to pick one up from someone that does not want/need theirs anymore!

I have a 500 mile stock 9 turbo and my shearer 35r kit if anyone wants to make some deals....

You assume that it's a delay caused by workforce or equipment. It's not.
