Well i sure hope Robert gets a chance to break free and post the new info for the new prospective buyers waiting to ship their turbos out like me (i don't think Tony will be giving his up now )
I larger compressor inlet shouldn't do anything for boost creep.

He also explained to me from A-B what is going on and why it does take so long for a turn around. He also told me I'm #7 on the list. Persons on the top of the list will be contacted I would guess this week because he has changed or should I say slightly modified the FP red again.

wow i really think we are talkign to differnt people because i just got off the phone with amber and she told me that she still dosent have parts for the reds yet and she hasent shipped any out yet and wont till they get made. so i mentioned how you called and she says your missimformed... i may be canceling my order soon and save the money

FP's customer service has always been lacking. I've also always heard so many different stories about how each person you talk to on the phone will tell you something to negate whatever the last person you spoke to told you.

They will continue to make everyone wait for products like they are now as long as the demand stays up. If I were still an FP customer, I wouldn't stand for this. I actually called about a red about a month or two ago and was told the wait time is about 4 weeks. Yeah, right. Not only was I not willing to wait 4 weeks, I also knew that they wouldn't deliver on time. So instead of going from a 30HTA to a red, I went to the BBK and am happy with my purchase.

That's odd. Dude I don't know anymore I was going to see my shop guy and make an appointment to drop the car off but I guess I'm going to have to wait now

Personally I don't understand what all the hype is with the red. They are WAY over priced. 1900$ for that turbo? You can buy a super value kit from ets for 2700 sell your IX turbo if you have one for 4-500$, sell the licp that comes in the kit and your old down pipe ( if you already have this stuff) for like 300$, make more power and have room to grow down the road if you want.

I understand for the guys in California wanting to look like stock.....but seriously, to me this turbo should be priced at like 1200$.

FP's customer service is absolutely top notch! I will be a FP customer for as long as I own turbo vehicles. Sad you didn't wait, you don't know what you're missing out on. Quality products take time, good things come to those who wait .

I love the FP Red turbo and one day I will buy one...but FP needs to do something about their turn around time...I think it's time to expand! On a side note...I have been in the sales/retail customer service market my entire life. You guys at FP MUST be on the same page as one another in reference to what your telling customers...Thats the quickest and easiest way to lose lots of business, and with this economy no one wants to lose business!

If you specifically read what they say on the site you would understand e-mailing them is not the best way to get in touch.

We put a lot of hard work into building the best turbos in the business, and this keeps us very busy. Consequently, time available for reading and responding to email is scarce. Please make your questions brief, clear, and to-the-point. This will greatly improve your chances of getting a quick response. If you email us asking for a general overview of turbocharger design theory, don't expect to get a response any time soon!

Pasted straight off their site.

For questions, product information, or orders, the best way to get a hold of us is by phone.

Once again right off the site.

People need to READ. FP has GREAT customer service, but you need to realize they are very busy. If you have an important question you need answered PICK UP THE PHONE, and give them a call. They will take care of you .
