yea mine is schedualed for delivery for the 27th and i got the 80mm inlet ill take pics when i get it

 

damn this thing came a long way..... i remember the fp red for the dsm's THE OLD SCHOOL ONE. it was the FIRST TIME i ever went for a ride in a FAST CAR. it was a GORGEOUS black 1gb eclipse with a red on it. back then in 3rd gear at 30psi, it ssscared the **** out of me but i LOVED it.

I just ordered mine yesterday... Let the wait begin...

 

I was at work and got an alert on my phone and yes sir I got my tracking number. Mine will arrive on the 21st. I have the MONSTER 80mm inlet. I also got a larger oil feed line with filter to make sure I'm not going to burn this turbo out. I asked Rob earlier about a 3" intake he told me what he had I took it. I'm dropping my car off at The Shop CT hopefully Wednesday I just have to speak to Jimmy and see if can get me in. So this works out perfectly cause I'm going on vacation on thursday. Look for me I'll be court side at the Miami Heat game on Saturday. Since I will get the turbo pretty soon I will post some pics of the new inlet.

Sweet! Congrats man. FP just came out with a nice 3" intake to fit it. That's the one I'll be doing, with a Perrin filter.

 

I know it's not going to happen but I hope I can get it tuned on my birthday in 2 weeks. That would be a nice gift especially since I weaseled my way out of going to Sydney for 4 weeks for business.

well i've been waiting 7 weeks, which is not as long as others have waited, and I will give it 1 more week. I specifically talked to Neel which he says, "It should be ready by mid- next wk." I call him on this but if they cannot deliver by next week, I can personally say they cannot hold their word for much and cancel my order. I like their product, but they shouldn't promise their customers what they cannot deliver.

 

That's a sweet casting for the new compressor cover. Just when you think it's as good as it will get, FP comes out with another improvement

 

So I take it that new compressor cover was developed to combat the surge the Reds like to do?

 

thats funny , when i first tested the tomei turbo, i looked at it and thought, damn imagine if they could fit the fpred wheel in there, that would be the perfect turbo. im pretty sure this is the same compressor housing used in the tomei arms 20g. it is lot bigger than the stock housing.

 

I know damn it lol...i just knew this would happen...If I would have waited a week I could have gotten the 80mm...
