Re: 1g Bov with Dejon Tool leak stop kit

Ok guys and gals, this works like gem, I'm really excited about it. Talked to Dave over at Dejon Tool tonight and told him he should get his name out on the evom forums. Super easy to install, the only thing you need to do is tap a 10/32 hole into your upper I/C piping. You need a 10/32 corse thread tap and two 10/32 fittings, I believe the fittings come with his kit and you can pick up the tap from lowes for like $4. This is really cool, good sound and haretrigger reponsiveness, hell I now can't get my car to stall even when I try, that's pretty cool. I'm pretty sure that you need an uncrushed 1g bov to do this though.
Awesome mitsu you beat me to it! What/ 90 adapter flange did you use? PN would be awesome. Thanks for the tap #s

Hey guys, I used the Vermont America Black Max Threading Tools Tap & Drill Combo, now I was certain of the sizes that I gave you earlier but the packagin states that the tap is 10-24 and the drill is # 25, I appologize but I swear that the sizes that I gave before were correct anyways here is the part # from Lowe's 21683

I have used 3 different stock BOV's today, and still get a boost leak at hight RPM's changed the boost control solenoid and also check ALL the hoses on a lift. I am putting in a aftermarket one tomorrow and if that fixes it I will do the 1g bov I think. If I can not find the boost leak I am putting this on a DYNO because I can hear it just not see it.

1g bov's are so easy to come by. just search on:
www.dsmtrader.com
www.dsmtuners.com(the classifieds forum)
www.thepartstrader.com

i just bought one for 35 shipped. The flanges are cheap, u can get them from RRE for like 15 bux with the gasket or around that price range, then all u need to do is weld the flange on, unless u buy a new ic pipe cuz then u can just get it flanged for one already.
