RPMS fluctuating

I am having a problem with my car now, I recently was in an accident and it crushed my intercooler and piping. I also had a Vishnu Dump Back exhaust which was also damaged and the repair shop put the stock exhaust back on.

What is happening now is in 1-3 Gear the RPMS are steady, but once I get in to 4th and 5th when I step on the gas the RPMS go up by 1K from where ever it is then drops back down to where it was. IE if it was at 3k I hit the gas it goes up to 4k then drops back down to 3K even if I keep my foot on the gas.

Could this be a problem with the boost or something else? any thoughts would be great.

I have less than 9000 miles on the car, really think it is the clutch?
