Best cams for stock 9 Turbo??
I agree with DBallz.... people with aftermarket cams on the stock turbo aren't trapping any higher than people with stock cams.
During my tuning session I noticed that the MIVEC map can make a huge difference in power even on the stock cams. I think that's why some people believe they've picked up power after a retune.
I'm now at 118mph on 100 octane stock turbo / stock cams at 26 psi.

Listen the reason why I said stock turbo stick with stock cams was because my buddy just recently bought a Evo9. And he was debating getting cams but he was reading on the forums that the MIVEC Head, stock cams, and stock turbo are great the way they are. So to go even further my buddy who will remain nameless tunes evos and he told me from what he has seen it isn't worth it to do cams unless you plan to upgrade the turbo. Unlike the evo 8 with stock turbo we all know we need cams to really make the power of the car shine. But dude save your money. Or next time hit the search button
I love the big midrange the hks 272s gave my car with stock cams and with the new turbo it's even sicker. Mind you I don't need the peakiness to cossies as I don't ever drag race. Daily driven and weekend track use. Compared to cossies these make as much as 50 more midrange hps as
We've seen on the dyno. It's a difference you feel
