Car looks amazing. The powerband does look great but I definitely think there's more in it. Are you going to keep going for 500 or is that it ?

I think the Synapsis diverter would be a great choice for you if you decided to get rid of that 9 one. Don't know if you support them or not but works flawlessly for me.

Also I was wondering you don't think with the stroker that a smim wouldnt make a difference all that much in the power band ?

Sorry to rant but also I noticed you said your going to switch to a evo x or jdm map sensor I would go with the omni one which is also plug n play and 4 bars so you have some room.
Talk to your friend to switching your rom over to 94170015 if you start having po300 issues plus its a better rom. That and with ecu controlled boost you could at least tune your boost to your liking and make it hold better but I know you like the manual one but may be worth a try though.

That would be one hell of a daily driven street car. Loads of power and show stopping paint. Great Job.

If that car still has the Intercooler spray switch you are ready for dual mapping, that's what used on the Evo 8.

well done Dave..

Is the Red the new version with the anti-surge housing? Just curious.

I bet it's an absolute MONSTER on the street. Can't wait to see it!

Great work Dave!! That thing has got to be a blast to drive on the street! And with the stock ecu cruising around you would never know that thing had an attitude! I'm really digging the wrinkle black finish on the pipes, very nice touch sir! Great numbers too!

jid2, I do still have the i/c sprayer switch. I didn't realize that was the switch that is used.

evo8emporer, for now I am happy with the 470 it made. I'm not sure if you've been on our dyno or not but that's a lot of power on our dyno. Consider at that power level and the full weight of this car, it could run 10.20's. I could be wrong but I'm not sure I've seen anyone with any car or combo of parts/tuner make 500 whp on our dyno on a stock ECU. Could it make more? Sure, I agree with you, it can make more. For now I want to drive it and enjoy it. Winged Warrior is coming up in a few weeks and that will be it's first outing, I want to make sure I can take it and finish the event more than anything. Yes, a SMIM can possibly make more power than I am making now but the gains at this power level are not going to be huge. The stock ported intake is an excellent part. I have not tried the Synapse valve, the stock EVO9 valve works well. I do not want to run ECU controlled boost, I am simply not a fan of it. The manual controller has proven itself to me time and time again. The 0015 ROM is interesting. I have one here with a bunch of mods in it that I was sent from a friend. I was going to use it today until I noticed the actual map size is smaller. I didn't want to give up 2 cels of resolution on RPM and 1 on load. I will probably stick to what I have and hope I can get the XML files to mod the 0008 ROM to what I want to do.

I am open to help/suggestions on the stock ECU.

Caleb, the turbo is the standard Red, not the new surge ported cover. Surprisingly the car is almost 100% surge free.

Damn Jake, you ran 10.9 already?! I didn't even realize you had the car ready to go. Very nice.

So David are you guys running this Winged Warrior event with the car as sits,
it will be really intersting to see what the car will do given the fact that the WHP is 470 i am sure some nice numbers will be pulled out of this one, and the nice tune

HAHA! Yeah man, I couldn't keep it stock for too long, already got the boot for no roll cage So I was unable to turn it up past 22lbs. I was happy with the 10.9 @130mph with only 22lbs on the stock motor. Now it's time to go hill climb and road racing, should be fun!

Anyway, back to your beast. You got any video of it on the dyno? Would love to see/hear it!
The stroker motor is more and more appealing everytime I see results like this, would make for one hell of a road race car that's for sure!
