That was used for the stock battery so the positive battery terminal dosen't touch the strut bar and short out.It's just a insulator.

Me neither, even though I HAVE seen pics of his entire setup before! If WE, evo owners who are familar with the Evo engine bay didn't notice, there's not way a Cop or emissions guy would unless they love turbo cars as much as we do.
