Finally started my built

well last tuesday i got my other car on the road so now i finally have the time to start my evo 8 built. I will post pics as I go. I already have the blosk practically bare but enjoy the pics and keep posted. By the way this i smy first ever engine built. So dont take this as tutoring just as a guy who finds very difficult to pay for labor.

this is where I,m at now about to clean the block and hone it. Very impressed in how well the cylinder walls are.

here are the piston walls ,but let me tell you the pics dont make justice the walls, look much better then what it looks here. I got all the block cleaned today and the milage is 101,000.

I forgot to post this ones

More pics on page 2. Thanks everyone, for the coments.

Im liking the tarp garage. heh.

Evo builds always make me happy. When you go back in with motor I find it easier to put it in from the bottom. Just my opinion though.

Pm me if you have any questions...I can hopefully help you out

Do yourself a favor and get that crank and block, pistons, rods and bearings to a machine shop to get mic'd out, machined and fitted before installing the parts. There are eagle cranks that are not true straight out of the box.
