To remove the ball joint from the hub you need a pickle fork or a ball joint removal tool, SK makes a nice one, NAPA carries them. To remove the dust boot a screwdriver will suffice. To remove the ball joint out of the suspension arm you need a press.

Dang, is there any other way besides buying a press? All the stores are closed by now

i know this sounds stupid but i put a large deep socket over the old one after i removed the boot and banged it out with a hammer. just be careful on that last hit cause if u dont get your hand out of the way its going to hurt.

Impressive. You were able to get the new one in with a socket as well?
