drop in the M3 cams and build the head you will be 400 dynojet whp if that's the kind of dyno you shooting for. Have you done enough search on cams for EVO IX? two friends of mine have problem w/ cosworth cams on their IX.

haha ok sorry, didn't see it listed and thought you might be overlooking. I think with good tuning you should be able to make your goal on a dynojet.

I want TRUE 400/400. Give me the lowest reading Dyno, with actual 400 BHP... Keep it real!

I only ask, not to jack the thread, but I am maybe about to do a Top End, depending on what we find with my girl and her new addiction to oil.

A lot of the fastest stock turbo/ red turbo's are running the M3's... including most wanted's evo that holds the stock turbo and fp red records for 1/4 mile times. Kiggly springs and retainers are among the best and I feel like I can get away with aggressive cams like the m3's.

you might be able to get away with it....but the ? is could u live with it, driving it daily

I don't know if you are going to get to 400 whp / 400 wtq with your planned route (unlikely if you use Buschur's dyno). Honestly it really depends on the dyno, as there can be some large differences. I too want 400/400 + and have done all that is in my signature, but am probably only near 375 on DLL. I have accepted the next step is either an FP Red or BBK Full. Also, a few things I would reconsider:

(1) I believe Cosworth does not recommend the M3 for the stock turbo
(2) No real gains (and some losses) have been shown with an external dump -- just makes noise....until you get into the big turbos
