well the problems with the 9 cams were supposedly caused from bad tuning and not the cam itself, well thats what i was told from certain people. as far as cams im runing GSC S2's and i like them, they drive fine on the street and have a good power band but just to let you know cams will make your car louder fyi

ok my story is i need to upgrade my clutch cause its slipping so since i'm going to my tuner i want to do a few mods and get retuned! so i thought cams/springs, apr headstud kit and a straight pipe to replace my hi-flow would be a good choice of mods, what do you guys think? anyone have these cams "Forced Performance Cam Set and Spring COMBO"?

should i also change the cam gears?

the clutch i'm going with is the Fidanza 3.2 four puck Clutch Kit and fidanza light weight aluminum flywheel does anyone have this set up if so how do you like it?

just found out this clutch doesnt fit the 6sp mr trans, so what clutches fit the mr trans? will the ACT EVO Street Disc Clutch Kit + ACT Streelight Flywheel COMBO?

well the next set of mods that will be done is fp-red with front mount and maybe something else. i dont really have a hp/tq goal just want to mod it slowly so i can enjoy it

should i replace anything while i'm getting the cams put in like timing belt or head gasket? i have 35k miles on the car

FP4R's. Fastest spool I've seen on a IX (quicker than stock) and a nice fat midrange. Lastly, my favorite feature, NO SNAPPING OR FAILURES!

I believe that should fit your MR fine, but you'll want to check with a vendor to be certain. Take a look at the Competition line of clutches though, they're about half the price as ACT and in my opinion much better clutches. I'm personally on a Comp Stage 3 and Comp flywheel (10.8 lb). If you do decide on the ACT though, look towards their Prolite flywheel instead since the Streetlite doesn't shave much weight off stock.

I have the Cosworth 272's, but I would go with the Kelford 272's because they make more power...

We have been seeing great gains with the Gsc s2 on FP Red IX's.. They seem to still have great down low and midrange along with on top power..
