FPR Solenoid?!!!
hey guys...should i connect my after market fuel pressure regulator vacuum line to the nipple on the fuel pressure solenoid (located at the other end of the intake mani)??
thanks in advance
thanks in advance
It's just like isolating the stock boost solenoid when one goes to a MBC or to an elctronic BC. By the way... you did remove the stock fuel pressure regulator, right?
PS- did you get the too rich at idle problem sorted?

yeah i removed the stock FPR and stock fuel rail..i am running an after market fpr and rail now.
i am still working on the idle problem...we think it is in the tune..because the car was tuned with a huge boost leak (in the intake manifold) in place..once the leak was fixed the car had excess fuel hence the rich condition..we are working on the tune now and hoping that this is the problem.
so you recommend i remove the fuel pressure solenoid?
btw..where are you guys connecting your Fuel Pressure vacuum line to...as well as the boost pressure vacuum line? i only find one bung on the intake manifold so i am forced to "T"-connected the fuel presure and boost vacuums to the intake mani.
thanks in advance

I personally have extra vacuum sources all over the manifold because I took off all the solenoids.
Depending though the two vacuum ports on the TB one is post tb plate and the other is pre tb plate. So depending on what you need to tie in you have a choice.
The fpr I kept the vacuum lines coming from its original place just no solenoid now.
I also run a vacuum block to make things easy if I need more vacuum line spots. Between meth and stuff they fill up quick.
