pulled EVAP, question inside on when i fill up.

so before i brought my car out this year i pulled the EVAP crap from the car. now when i fill up i cant pull the handle up all the way, it stops it like either the tank is full or there is air in the tank or whatever. i did however vaccum cap all the lines that i pulled off from the EVAP, so im thinking that its one of these that needs to be vented when i fill up.

anyone know which one it is? or should i just take all the vac caps off

I was going to pull the evap canister off my car but I wasn't sure on if people did that DD their car.

I would imagine though to look for a vacuum line that comes off the highest part of the neck from the gas tank. But thats just my guess.

I think I just might pull my evap canister off tonight seeing its not needed and extra weight.

I was looking under the rear bumper at this as well and was wondering what was involved with pulling this out, I would like some details on what needs to be done once the canister is removed.

Ditto. I've had all that crap removed for about 800 miles and everything is fine. I capped off at both ends the steel line that runs from the EVAP canister in the back of the car to the engine bay. I did leave one of the larger lines though that appeared to run up to the top of the filler neck uncapped and have had zero issues.
