I would say most Evo owners that are buying Amsoil are typically using the SSO which is a 0W-30. That is from my Amsoil selling expierience at least.

To me its seems that it is a battle between Amsoil and Mobile1, i get mobile1 10w30 because its found everywhere, and yes, walmart has it here for 21 bucks (5 quart jug)

and yes royal purple blows, i believe they have tested royal purple against other oils and it was a fail

Just a little bit for the ones that are saying get this oil and get that oil,,, you guys make the conclusion by looking at the chart on how much you will spend buying this brand or that brand over the long term

Are you saying that you only change your oil every 25000 miles?

The way I calculate the cost of your oil for 25k mi. is 25000/2500 = 10 x 44.5 = $445/25k mi. The price falls right in the middle.
