Hello..
I'm thinking of replacing the stock turbo outlet with the megan racing. I have some questions though, are there any issues with aftermarket turbo outlets? will the sound be louder? and if it will be louder, is it noticable? I have a cobb turbo back exhaust with the high flow cat and i dont really like to have a loud sound. I would really appreciate your replies.

it's less restrictive than the stock o2 housing so it certainly has a good chance of being louder

I doubt you'll notice the sound change at all.

I would stray away from the megan O2 housing - they've had well known boost creep issues.
Go for the invidia O2!

 

im looking for something that would last long with no issues at all. if changing the turbo outlet will have some issues then i'll just forget about it then.
I have one more question, I currently have only a TBE and a drop in filter.. is it a good idea to get the AMS front mount intercooler with the lower pipes while keeping everything else stock?
