Which is better to install in a built 2.0 gt35 or 850r turbo?

Hello everyone, I'm a mitsubishi evolution enthusiast from El Salvador in Central America. Here in El Salvador is very difficult to get parts for my car. As you all may imagine, I have to purchase everything in the US, and then spend more money in getting my parts to El Salvador.

I just finished building my engine, it is not stroker it is a 2.0 fully built, my next step is to install the correct turbo kit. I want to get better times in the drag strip and as much power as possible. I don't know which turbo kit would be better for my 2.0 built engine, the AMS 850r or the GT35r??

Could anyone help me please.

I would have to say an FP Red would be ideal for the built 2.0L but GT35 should be fine with that motor. Have fun with the build man

I'd have to disagree. I'd go with the 850R. If I remember correctly, it spools similar to a 35R but makes power like a 37R. A high-reving built 2.0 would be able to take advantage of a bigger turbo like the 850R.

if i remeber correctly i beleive the 850r spools a lil sooner then the 35r. and makes power up near a 37r would make, like stated before.

i would do the 850r....goodluck.

850R (or 6262), for reasons mentioned above.
